Many towns have shops or other attractions that non members would like to get to, the problem is if that place is in an outpost non town members are not able to get to it easily. This could be fixed if we implemented a warp feature... players could use a command like /t setwarp "name" and create a warp on any plot owned by their town. others could then do /t warp "name" to get there. we could even make a cost for creating warps to prevent it from being abused. Let me know what you all think!
This is not possible within the Towny plugin, and as far as I know, Differentcraft does not own a fork of it aside from some sort of modification that disables the EULA message. It might be possible, it might not be. DC could always get a player warps plugin.
Damn, you're completely right. I don't know why I wasn't considering a hook into the Towny plugin. Yes, it's totally possible. For some reason, I was only considering the possibility of MODIFYING the Towny plugin itself to add this feature. Forgive me for forgetting that. Disregard my other comment.
The portal guns only work for the player. However, I use the SF teleporter to allow non-town members to teleport to other outposts. Works just as well as warps, all you have to do is set the teleporter to let everyone use it.
no sorry, i mean a plugin that permit to create portals like the nether portal i was ex-mod of a Italian server with these portals and i can say that these can be set to a location (or with random tp if the user want) Spoiler: Easy Example when 2 portals are same redstone and dirt portal <-- it works--> redstone and dirt portal when 2 portals are different tnt and cobblestone portal <-- it not works--> redmoshroom and end_stone portal when one portal is builded more times than 2 redstone and dirt portal <-- it not works--> redstone and dirt portal <-- it not works--> redstone and dirt portal good idea but, expensive
