AH is getting filled with crap and overpriced stuff everyday. A fee or rank permission would not be a bad idea imho.

Check some examples of whats going on there today:

The auction house can now only be used by merchants.

We hope this change will improve player experience.

The Auction House is still full of junk, making use of it if you only have rank of merchant does not work, still a dumping ground for for some people unwanted junk, I think a fee, say 1k to place something in and, a refund only if it sells is the only way its not gonna be a junkyard.

I was thinking of two options:

    1) Every item that is put on /ah has to be accepted by a staff member first, or something like that.

    2) Players could put whatever on /ah, but if it it is really bullshit, others could 'report' it somehow (of course this option will be able only for some rank, otherwise it could be abused), and if the item reaches multiple 'reports' it will be automatically removed and added to expired items.

I know both have some pros and cons, they are just my ideas.

It's really just a case of reporting anyone who is doing super excessive auctions say 100k for one piece of coal

I'm going to close this thread now as it has been resolved
