recently bought a gem seeking pickaxe from the gem shop and added wither I socket to it? does this ruin the pickaxe? ive mined around 3 stacks of coal and have no silk touch on the pickaxe as it says not to add it, wondering whats happened and why im getting not dirty gems?
The plugin for the gem seeker detects the item in your inventory, adding a socket will most likely break it. Hope this helps
so if you have the gem seeker pick in your inventory but use a different pick to mine, will it still give dirty gems??
u have to mine with the gem seeker. u cant add anything on it. a tip is to use haste potions or have a javeline in your offhand.
In response to your other question it is much more complicated than that so no it has to be in your hand
The Gem seeker pickaxe does not say anywhere that it will break with a socket on it, i was not aware of this, is there a chance i can get a new one?
No I don’t think Jordan would give you a new one. For future reference relics and things of “ special “ Nature will break if anything is changed or added to them. Sorry about the gem seeker
Not very fair at all, having "silk touch will break this pickaxe" infers that that enchant only will exclusively break the pickaxe and everything else will be fine added to this. this needs to be advertised on the tool more clearly next time and i don't see why Jordan would not give me a new one if i was to give back my broken one? you have given me no reason as for why i shouldn't be entitled to something i've worked hours for?
