i have had two tridents just disappear i am not sure what has happened. is this a bug or something?

would really like to get them back they took me a long time to get

Did they have the enchantment Loyalty on them? This enchantment makes them come back to you.

 

yes one did have loyalty i threw it and it never came back. i have used it many times and never had any problems. the other had riptide on it and just disappeared. seems really strange.

 

Did you throw it in a town?

 

yes in my own town

 

I think theres something with towny, i tried it before and it just disappeared.

 

I lost my items in JipJaws' town when my items were on the ground when I returned. It was way less than 30 seconds.

 

i was just messing around threw it strait up into the air it landed beside me and never returned to my inventory.

 

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this, i will inform my friend who is a towny developer.
