I really just need to have the right rule posted here because every time I ask about it, the answer always changes. Rule [17] states that there is only a 50 hopper limit per person. So what if a group of 5 people got together and built 250 hoppers all in a chunk? Or 250 hoppers scattered around 4 chunks. Would this be okay? I've been told that sometimes the hopper limit only relates to the proximity of how many other hoppers are in the area. If this is the case, how big is that area? Doesn't that also mean that I can bypass my 50 hopper per person by placing 50 hoppers in both the old and new world? What if 2 residents were side by side each other and got their hoppers removed even though they were well within their limits? I've also been told that the hopper limit strictly relates to a 50 hopper limit per person. If this is the case, I've also been told that you can claim hoppers as your town hoppers (since alot of us have town grinders that would bypass hopper limit) and as a result, does not affect your personal hopper limit at all. Would I also be allowed to claim that the hoppers I use are actually claimed under my inactive friends limit? If this were to be true, than I have many inactive friends who would be willing to claim my hoppers under their personal limit. TLDR; Does hopper limit apply per person or per area, and please clear up the grey things in between. I'd appreciate it if someone (staff) could just clear this up for me. Love Fall, a player who doesn't want to be banned over a misunderstanding lol.
I'm attempting to write up an explanation for this rule as there is a lot of confusion around it. Staff discussed this pretty thoroughly lastnight and feel it may be beneficial to make a guide on using hoppers with a FAQ - as suggested. Once I've finished it will be Jordan approved, and hopefully answer all your questions.
