Hey guys! My name is Jeff (on the server anyway) and I started playing mid this summer when I decided to try out Minecraft again. I always loved the towny plugin and found this one on one of the many server list website type things. My first time logging in everyone gave me a warm greeting and it seemed like a fun server. Luckily I ran into Concerned and she let me help her build a town! Unfortunately, she left the town but at least she left it to me! Now I just hang out on the server trying to keep my town alive. I'm really only online on weekends because I like to focus on school during the weekdays. Speaking of school, at the moment I'm a sophomore in High School doing a program that can hopefully help me pay for college later. I'm 15 right now but in a couple weeks (September 17th) I'll be 16. I really don't have plans for the future as it stands. I just hope one day I can make enough money to give back to my parents for all they did for me. I also have a good amount of hobbies, I love playing music, primarily my bass, and I dabble on the drums... I don't play in any leagues but I play pretty much every sport for fun and I love gaming. Oh almost forgot, my real name is Jacob if anyone wanted to know. And I want whoever reads this to know that I really appreciate this community and the mods that work so hard to keep the server together and always fun. I will definitely play this for a long time and I hope one day I'll get a Wb Jeff in chat lol. Bands I like if anyone cares. Welcome Jeff! What's the name of your town? That's awesome that you're already planning for your future education. Smart move! It's so nice to see your appreciation towards your parents, I bet that means a lot to them. Bass is probably my favourite string instrument, and we seem to have a few common music interests as well. You have a great music taste for someone your age. You're going places! Though, you should add in more classic and progressive rock. Check out some classics like Genesis and some of Phill Collins' solo material. Welcome [back]!
My towns name is Norway. Also, haven't found many people that appreciate the bass so that's awesome we have that in common! I'd love to get people to share their music interests within the server it just makes connecting with each other that much easier. Thanks for your warm welcome, I'll be here for a while!
Thanks man I do love Phil Collins' music but I will definitely be checking out Genesis... Cool to find all these common musical interests!
I would also recommend you check out The Moody Blues. Their famous song was Nights In White Satin. Groups like Disturbed may help you quell your liking for heavier varieties of music, as well as bands such as Bullet For My Valentine and Three Days Grace. My music taste ranges from 50's and 60's bluegrass and folk to contemporary metal and progressive rock, for the most part.
I love a little bluegrass! But I definitely will check those out I know some Bullet for my Valentine, like Scream Aim Fire.
