Farm Plots

Hi!

I would like to see sugar canes, nether warts and cocoa beans added to the "allowed list" for farm plots.
This is because I think residents in towns should be able to farm these aswell as the other crops within a farm plot.

As far as I know, the plot needs to be a standard plot (not farm plot) and perms for build and destroy active for residents to be able to farm these at the moment. In this case residents will be able to grief other blocks which is unfortunate for both towns and server staff.

Here is a copy paste from towny regarding files and default blocks:
"A Farm plot players to only build/destroy blocks designated in the Towny Config.yml at global_town_settings.farm_plot_allow_blocks. By default this list includes “LONG_GRASS, DOUBLE_PLANT, YELLOW_FLOWER, RED_ROSE, PUMPKIN_STEM, MELON_STEM, BEETROOT_BLOCK, CARROT, POTATO, CROPS, MELON_BLOCK, PUMPKIN”."

I'll talk to Jordan about implementing them, I'll check beforehand too to see if there's any other crops not permitted.

@aWinterRose they should make it so people in your nation can use your farm add a toggle command for it

 

If u want this i have great news for you! At the plot/plots where u want ur nation members to be able to use the farm etc, u just use the command: /plot set perm ally on , and every nation member from the nation that you are in is able to use the farm, chests etc on that plot!

Maybe we could add trees to that list so we can have farms and forestry all together

Any update on this? I got a mega farm sitting here useless cause i don't want to toggle destroy.
