In version 1.12 a new crafting gui was added. Now it's easy too look up a crafting recipe. Also if you left click the left window item, the crafting window fills up. This makes it easier to craft tons of stuff without having to manually put in each item in the crafting spots. On this server when I left click the item I want to craft, the items blink into place, then are gone. I miss using it to 'autocraft' things without all the extra clicking.
